Book a 30-minute call · with a Claude Certified Architect from our team.
- Claude is the AI assistant made by Anthropic. You write to it in plain English and it answers in kind.
- For a company, the right subscription is Claude Team. The price per seat is the one Anthropic publishes for the UK, in pounds; it is on our Claude pricing page, with the date read.
- Claude Pro is a personal plan. It runs on consumer terms without a data processing agreement, so company and client data do not belong on it.
- Everything can be done online. You start with the Claude Readiness Workshop, 2,500 GBP, then a 30-day pilot; the steps and prices are below.
What Claude is and what it can do for your company
Claude is the AI assistant made by Anthropic, an American company. You tell it what you need in your own words. The result can be an answer, an email or a finished file: a Word document, an Excel sheet, a presentation.
You use Claude in the browser, in the app for Windows and Mac, on the phone, and directly inside Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The models, the plans and what each one does are set out in the guide What is Claude.
What it can do in a UK company:
- 01Quotes. You give it the customer's enquiry and the price list. It writes the quote in the company's template.
- 02Overdue invoices. You give it the list of unpaid invoices from Xero or QuickBooks. It writes a reminder email for each customer.
- 03Customer emails. It reads the emails that arrive in Outlook or Gmail and prepares the replies. Unless you change the settings, it asks for approval before it sends anything.
- 04Reports. It builds the weekly report from the sales spreadsheets. It can do it without being asked, every Monday morning.
- 05Documents. It reads a long contract and lists the obligations, the deadlines and the penalties.
Claude can make mistakes, and Anthropic says so plainly. That is why anything involving money, messages sent in the company's name or important files needs approval. Approval is a person, the colleague who checks Claude's work, confirming before Claude acts.
Claude, Claude Cowork and Claude Code: the difference

In Cowork, Claude opens the files, finds the information, works on it and hands you the result, a report or a presentation for example. It runs on Anthropic's servers, so the task carries on if you close the laptop. You need the internet to start the task, to follow it, and while Claude works with files on your computer.
When to use which:
- 01An ordinary conversation, for a question, a draft or a document to read. The colleague reads the answer and decides.
- 02Claude Cowork, when the task has several steps or the result must be a file, such as a report drawn from several sources.
- 03Claude Code is the version for developers. If you have no developers in the company, you do not need it.
Claude Pro or Claude Team: which subscription you need
Claude Pro is the subscription for one person. Claude Team is the subscription for companies, from 2 to 150 users.
On Claude Team you pay for a seat for each member of staff who uses Claude. A seat is one user's licence, and it is either standard or premium. A premium seat has a usage limit five times higher, for the people who work with Claude most.
The usage limit is how much Claude can do for one user within a period. There are two, one over five hours and one over a week, and each resets when its period ends. Anthropic does not state them in messages, because use depends on the length of the documents and of the task.
Anthropic's UK prices are in pounds; we publish them on our Claude pricing page, with the date read.

Claude Pro suits one person trying Claude for themselves. For a company, the subscription is Claude Team.
Claude Enterprise is the subscription for larger companies, from 20 users. You need it only when an auditor or a contract asks for security features Claude Team does not have, an audit log for example.
For your accountant. Anthropic invoices the company account directly. How VAT appears on that invoice depends on your account, so check the first one with your accountant.
Why client data needs Claude Team
- 01The terms. Pro and Max run on Anthropic's consumer terms, written for individuals. Team runs on its commercial terms, written for companies.
- 02The data processing agreement. The DPA is the contract between the company and Anthropic that UK GDPR expects from a processor. On Claude Team it is included. On Claude Pro there is none.
- 03Training the model. Training means Anthropic uses conversations to improve Claude. On Claude Pro it happens unless the user turns it off in the settings. On Claude Team the commercial terms rule it out.
- 04The work stays in the company. On Claude Team the account belongs to the company. When someone leaves, the Claude Team admin removes their seat, and the shared projects and data stay with the company.
Careful with annual billing
On annual billing, each seat is paid for the whole year. You can add seats at any time. You cannot reduce their number before the renewal.
If you do not yet know how many people will use Claude, start on monthly billing. Move to annual billing after the first months.
Claude Team is paid by card only: credit, debit or prepaid. Bank transfer is not accepted.
How your company works with Claude every day
A project is a shared folder in Claude. The team puts the company's documents and rules there, and Claude uses them for every request in that project. The price list and the quote template, for example. On Claude Team, projects are shared with colleagues.
A connector is the official link between Claude and one of the company's programs. Through a connector Claude can read the program's data and, if you allow it, add or change data.
Microsoft 365, Google, HubSpot, QuickBooks and the Zoho programs have official connectors, among others: Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Desk and Zoho Projects. Xero has its own connector, which reads the books and does not write to them. Zoho Inventory joins through Zoho MCP, Zoho's official MCP server.
For them, and for any other program with an API, we build an MCP server. The API is the route by which other programs read and add data in yours. For a program without one, we show you the possible routes, with the cost of each, and you choose.
In each program, Claude has the same rights as the colleague who connected it. The admin sets each action: always allowed, allowed with approval, or blocked. Claude may read the emails, for example, but not send them.
A skill holds the company's instructions for one task, such as how a quote is made. You save it once. Claude applies it every time it does that task, without being told again.
A plugin bundles several skills and connectors for one area of work, sales or accounts for example.
A scheduled task is one Claude does on its own, at a set time: hourly, daily, weekly or on working days. Claude does it on Anthropic's servers, even with the laptop shut. The exception: if it needs files on the computer, it runs only while the computer is on and Claude Desktop is open.
An AI agent on Claude is a program Svennis builds to take on one company process: orders, quotes or support requests. It reads each email with an order, checks the stock and raises the order, at any hour, weekends included. Some steps it takes on its own; for the others it prepares everything, and a person decides.
Every action the agent takes goes into an activity log, which you can check at any time. The agent needs no seats; its running cost is explained below. It is built in Claude Pilot A, which you can order with or without Pilot B.

The company's AI policy is the document that sets the rules plainly. It says what data staff may give Claude and which actions need approval.
The UK has no AI Act. Training is where most of the value comes from, and a written record shows what the company has done.
For Microsoft 365, consent comes from whoever runs the company's Microsoft account, often an outside IT provider.
The three ways to link Claude to your programs
- 01An official connector. The program already has one: Microsoft 365, Google, Zoho, Xero, QuickBooks, HubSpot and others.
- 02A connection Svennis builds. When a program has no connector, we build an MCP server on the standard connectors use. That covers Sage, FreeAgent and any other program with an API. Each connection is priced in the offer, before you sign.
- 03An AI agent on Claude, for orders, quotes or support. We build it on Claude's API, in Claude Pilot A. One agent takes on one process; a second process is a second pilot or a Department Activation sprint.
What an AI agent on Claude costs to run
The agent needs no seats. You pay for usage, the work Claude does. The provider chosen together bills it to your account in US dollars, with a budget set from the start.
The provider can be Anthropic, Amazon Web Services through Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud through Vertex AI, or Microsoft through Microsoft Foundry. By default we run the agent in your own AWS account, on Amazon Bedrock in London. There Claude Opus 5.5 runs in the UK, while Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 are processed within Europe, not always in the UK.
The cost depends on volume, not on the number of staff: at a few thousand emails, orders or requests a month, it comes to tens of pounds. The worked example on our Claude pricing page, at 3,000 conversations a month, comes to a few dollars on Claude Haiku 5.5. On Claude Sonnet 5.5 it is about a hundred.
If your company has no account with the chosen provider, we open one together during the pilot, in your company's name. The agent always runs on your account, with your keys, never on ours.
What Svennis does, in practice
We work in four steps, each with its own price and a decision at its end. Each step is described in full on the services page. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT.

| 4. Managed AI Operations, monthly | What you getWe keep what we built running, with no minimum term | Pricefrom 550 GBP a month |
The Workshop is credited in full against a pilot signed within 60 days. We offer no other discounts, bundles or day rate. What we built stays with the company if you stop Managed AI Operations.
Already on Claude, or a small team? Claude Team Adoption, from 5,900 GBP, two weeks with one lead, under 250 users: a team that already has Claude Team learns to use it on its own work. Claude Relaunch, from 8,400 GBP, four weeks: you have seats bought and idle, we find out why and put them to work.
Two assistants, as a subscription. An AI customer assistant answers customers on the website, WhatsApp or email; an AI service desk assistant answers colleagues in Microsoft Teams or Zoho Desk. Setup is from 4,200 GBP, then from 420 GBP a month or from 850 GBP a month.
You buy the Claude Team seats directly from Anthropic, and the provider you choose bills the agents' usage to your account. Svennis adds nothing to their prices.
Svennis Cloud Solutions Ltd is registered in England and Wales, with its office in Manchester; the engineering team works in Cluj-Napoca. We are a Zoho Premium Partner, and ten colleagues on our team hold the Claude Certified Architect certification.
Svennis Cloud Solutions is a Select Partner in the Claude Partner Network. The Claude Partner Network is Anthropic's partner programme; what that means for your project is on the partner page. The results of our projects are on the case studies page.
Online or on site? And what happens without the internet
Everything can be done online. Each set-up step happens in the admin console, in the browser.
A day on site is still worth it in a few cases:
- 01The app has to go on every computer. Claude Desktop installs on Windows or Mac. If your IT provider cannot install it remotely, doing it in person, desk by desk, is quicker.
- 02The office network blocks connections. Some office networks stop new programs, and that is easier to fix on site.
- 03Measuring the process. If you want us to measure the time you save, we first see how the work is done today.
Claude does not work without the internet. There is no offline mode.
Without Claude Desktop, Claude cannot work with the files on the computer or the programs installed on it. For files on the computer, the app has to be open.
Where your company's data is
Personal data is any information about an identifiable person: a name, an email, a National Insurance number, a phone number. UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 protect it, and the regulator is the Information Commission (formerly the ICO).
- 01Where it is kept. On Claude Team seats, Anthropic stores the data in the United States. Requests may be processed on servers in several countries, including in Europe, Asia or Australia. No Claude subscription keeps the data in the UK.
- 02Why it is allowed. The transfer out of the UK is covered by the UK Addendum in Anthropic's data processing agreement, which comes with Claude Team.
- 03What it means for your company. Your company stays responsible for the data. Anthropic processes it on your behalf, as your processor in UK GDPR terms. Check with your adviser how this supplier goes into your privacy notice and records.
- 04What not to put into Claude. Anthropic's DPA does not cover health data, biometric data or the other special categories. For those you need a separate assessment.
The AI agent on Claude can run in the UK. The agent Svennis builds runs in your own AWS account, on Amazon Bedrock in London, where Claude Opus 5.5 is served in the UK. That is the route we recommend. Claude Team seats for staff have no such option.
Questions
Does Claude write British English?
Yes, when you ask it to: organise and colour, the day before the month, prices in pounds. The menus are in English, and Claude answers in the language you write in.
Do I need an IT person?
Not for daily use. For the set-up you need whoever holds the company card, the Microsoft 365 or Google account, and the accounts software or the CRM. The Microsoft account is often run by an outside IT provider.
Can I use my Claude Pro account?
Only to try Claude for yourself. For the company, no: Pro runs on consumer terms without a data processing agreement. A Pro account can move into Claude Team with its conversations, projects and files, and the Pro subscription is then cancelled.
What happens to our clients' data?
The data stays the company's. On Claude Team seats Anthropic does not train on it, and stores it in the United States under the UK Addendum in its DPA. The agent Svennis builds can run in London, and that is the route we recommend.
How long does it take?
Claude Readiness Workshop: two weeks. Claude Pilot A or B: 30 days. Department Activation: two weeks per department, usually three sprints between day 30 and day 90. Claude Team Adoption: two weeks. Claude Relaunch: four weeks.
What does it cost in total for 10 people?
For a team of 10, Claude Team Adoption is the fit; Pilot B, with Activation sprints, is designed for larger teams. The seats are paid separately, directly to Anthropic, at the published price.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Claude Team Adoption, two weeks | Pricefrom 5,900 GBP |
| 10 Claude Team seats, a year | PriceAt Anthropic's published price, paid to Anthropic |
If you also want a process taken on by an AI agent on Claude, add Claude Pilot A, from 16,800 GBP. The provider bills the agent's usage to your account.
What happens when someone reaches the usage limit?
The five-hour limit resets after five hours. If it happens often, move their seat to premium. Or turn on extra usage, paid on use at Anthropic's prices, within a spending limit you set for each person.
Pick a time. Bring the process that hurts most.
